The first band I ever worked with, as their merch guy whilst at university in Manchester. This was released in November 2010 as part of the Secret Treehouse series, a six part series with each release put out on a handmade CD with spraypainted covers. Each release was sent out with a badge set, postcard, lyric sheet, and a handmade zine.

It was always my ambition to release a The Maple State track and for me this is vintage TMS with a really great bassline and frontman Greg Counsell at his best. Greg was scheduled to be the last ever WTR release with his Ghost Saddles project, an EP which is still unreleased. I've made repeated attempts to release a The Maple State greatest hits compilation but this isn't possible for legal reasons, which is a huge huge shame.
